Walking distance to the center of the Saas grund village. We stayed there for 2 nights, the instructions to check in were very clear. The staff are very very helpful and nice. Very well equipped and clean apartment. Definitely recommend for anyone who want to spend some time in Saas grund and the surrounding areas/ villages.

The apartment is very nice and completely supplied. There is also an indoor playground for the little ones and a fitness space for the adults. We have a nice view of the mountains. We got 1 small and 1 big towel pp and clean bedsheets for 6 days. Best to take towels from home.
In March 2026 I stayed for the 5th time at Montela and once again it's been a great experience. The apartments are modern and cosy and well equipped, the employees are friendly and helpful and the short walk to the gondola (ski area) and the bos stop to Saas-Fee is very convenient.
An exceptional stay that exceeded expectations in every aspect. The service was genuinely warm and attentive, with staff going above and beyond to provide helpful information and ensure a seamless experience. Despite our late arrival, the hotel thoughtfully prepared breakfast ingredients and stocked the fridge generously. Even at check-out, they kindly allowed us to take breakfast items to go—an impressive level of care and flexibility. The room was fully equipped, beautifully laid out, and incredibly comfortable. From the bedroom to the balcony, every space felt thoughtfully designed, functional, and warmly inviting—making it hard not to want to return. If there’s one downside, it’s simply that our stay was too short. We didn’t have enough time to explore the surrounding ski resort and charming old town—but we’ll definitely be back.
The place is amazing! I stayed in building A, and the view was of the mountain. The apartment had two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen with everything you need for cooking, even a toaster, coffee maker, pots, knives, and spoons—everything! There's also a Co-op supermarket where you can get everything for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed there for three lovely nights, and the apartment was warm with underfloor heating. Our visit was from April 11th to 13th, 2026, and from there you can go to Sas Vei and play in the snow.

We had a great time over the Easter break at Montela. Clean and modern facilities, indoor playground for kids, breakfast delivery to the room, convenient location right at the bus stop an 5' walk to the ski lift, friendly personnel always ready to help.
Stayed a week just before and after Easter…. Great new modern apartments in SG with easy 10-15m bus access to SaasFee. Very good end of season price (good to book direct and email to ask if any offers) and really felt like home. All the staff were excellent and very helpful. Very well decorated and furnished, with good soundproofing and comfy beds. Ski room also spacious with own locker and heated/aired ski boots rack! Look forward to coming back next season…
This is our third stay here, and we're still just as satisfied. The apartment is well-equipped, very cozy, and very well located near the buses. The staff is excellent.

We booked a 3-bedroom apartment on-line from the US for a special getaway with local friends. Sometimes you can’t really be sure of what you are going to get until you arrive….we were SO pleased!!! We were a total of 3 couples. The apartment was spacious, very comfortable, well laid out, lovely attention to detail. The fridge VERY well stocked (we opted for the upgrade) with excellent quality breakfast items - fresh eggs, local yogurt, sparkling water, 2 entire wheels of cheese, breakfast meats, fantastic bircher musli, milk, coffee… it saved so much time and effort. The kitchen is small but very functional and had all the equipment we needed. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had 0 complaints - and my career was in high-end hotel management, so I can usually find something to be concern about lol.
Wonderful accommodation in a perfect location: The bus stop to Saas-Fee is right outside the door, the bakery is just a few steps away, and the Hohsaas valley station is easily accessible on foot. We stayed in the penthouse – spacious, fully equipped, and with a breathtaking view that made every morning a highlight. The ski room with ski lockers and boot warmers was invaluable after long days on the slopes. A special thank you to Jerry at reception, whose warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Modern, clean, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable – we would love to come back again.

We've been staying at Montela for four years now, and it's excellent value for money. The residence is modern and comfortable, with a mountain chalet feel, and is located right at the foot of the Saas Grund ski lifts. It's well-equipped overall, but we were a little disappointed with the amount of crockery and cutlery, as well as the cleanliness, compared to previous years. Nevertheless, it's still a pleasure to stay here!
Grundsätzlich sehr schön und sauber. Jedoch hatten wir Silberfische (kleine Insekten) in der Wohnung. Das Servicepersonal wusste nichts davon, aber mit jedem Gast mit dem wir gesprochen haben, hatte das Selbe Problem. Anfangs ging auch der TV nicht. Hier hat sicher aber sofort ein Techniker darum gekümmert und den Defekt behoben. Im Gegensatz zu den Silberfischen war dies schnell erledigt.

Eigentlich ein schönes Apartment. Gute Lage und grundsätzlich gut ausgestattet. Für kleinere Kinder wäre noch eine Erhöhung im Badezimmer zum ausleihen wünschenswert, so dass selbständig Hände gewaschen oder Zähne geputzt werden kann. Was ich schade finde ist, dass man mit Early Check-in / Late Check-out hier nochmals kassiert. Da wir mit dem öV da sind, wollten wir aufgrund der Verbindung die Wohnung bis 10Uhr statt 9 Uhr. Für diese Stunde möchten man 50 CHF - viele Wohnungen sind in der Folgewoche frei. Wir haben schon weltweit an weit über 100 Orten übernachtet - für ein Check-out um 10Uhr ist es das erste Mal, dass wir bezahlen. Aber alles scheint das erste Mal zu sein… Ein bisschen Verhältnismässigkeit und Pragmatismus statt AGBs würde der Schweiz gut tun… Es geht nicht um das Geld, es geht um das Signal, dass man aussendet. Der Herr beim Checkin war dafür sehr freundlich :)

Fantastic apartment complex! Ski bus and bakery right outside. Everything is super clean, quiet, and convenient. The Hohsaas cable car is within walking distance, and Saas-Fee is accessible every 15 minutes by bus right outside the building. The only thing missing is a sauna :) otherwise, there's even a children's cinema and a gym. Great for families! We had a 3-bedroom apartment on the ground floor with 4 kids and were really happy with it.
We have now stayed at Montela on two occasions, it is the perfect spot for a little home away from home. The kitchen contains everything you could want. It's warm, and walking distance to Saas grund gondola, as well as having a bus stop right out front. When we came back it was nice to see they are enhancing what's offered e.g. have a gym now. Very family friendly with a kids play room. Our next request would be they add a sauna haha!
Very nice and spacious apartment, clean, plenty of storage space, very well equipped for cooking. Welcome set with oil, salt, coffee etc also very appreciated. The bathroom was also very large and comfortable. Very big and well kept indoor play area for kids, in addition there are toys at the entrance of the building which you can take to your apartment to play. This is very nice. The only downside were the mattresses and pillows which we found not very comfortable, and the double bed was made of two separate mattresses which left a rather large gap between them. Other than that we are very satisfied and would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Pavilion. The Pavilion is luxurious, fully serviced, and exceptionally well maintained. The location is perfect, close to an excellent coffee shop and bakery. This is our 2nd stay in Montela Hotel. And it is same highest standards of hospitality as during our first visit, last year. All is well thought (facilities, equipment, bedding, multimedia, etc.) and very cosy (decor and finishes, big windows with views, balcony/terrace). It feels like home in the mountains. Very friendly staff, very nice modern appartements with all what is needed. Bus station for the ski-shuttle to Saas fee ski terminal just few meters from the house and every 15 minutes. It takes only around 15 minutes to arrive, and since the house is almost at the start of the line, no problem to seat (it’s free for guests). Free parking just around the house. Supermarket (Coop/Denner) 2 minutes with the car/bus. Premium stay has an incredible breakfast delivered to your room (most was in the fridge at arrival and every morning you can get complimentary fresh cold or hot stuff you can select the evening before) 👍. Nice big kids playroom for kids up to 12. Ski-room with included lockers and boots-dryer in the house. Already planning to come back. Thanks for the experience.
Outstanding Aparthotel. Beautiful, spacious, modern and well equipped apartments, excellent service (I highly recommend the inclusive breakfast option for a warm breakfast delivered to your door every morning), and very well situated with a busstop for the 642 to Saas-fee just in front of the property - 10 minutes to the Alpin Express! We will most certainly be coming again.

Most important tip if you are planning to stay reach be4 sunsey under all circumstsnces Personally we Loved it , not too far from zermat. Approx 35km but takes around an hour to reach cz of the extremely snakey onewsy roads But would highly recommend it gor a chill out few days , fully equipped hotel apartment rpoms the coop is less than 500m awsy so easy to get supplies if needed. There is a beautiful local bakery just next to the entrance working from 6am and closes 6pm for coffe/light snacks a few necessities cabin cafe

Stay from August 9 to 12, book directly with Montela. Totally misleading advertising on the site. The worst 2-room apartment on the street at the corner, parking with a 4 m2 terrace buried under the cars! No light, no sun, no greenery, you live in a 'cellar' and you were sold greenery with a mountain view. The worst location in 40 years of traveling around the world!! In fact, all the 2/3 room apartments overlook the parking lot without a mountain view and they ask you for a supplement of €350 for 3 nights and offer you the standard apartment. This is the sales technique of this scam. Everything is optional! Forced to go to dinner at the restaurant every evening when we had taken an apartment with a kitchen!! Another negative point is leaving before 9 a.m. otherwise there is a supplement of CHF50! N Never seen before... Very unpleasant to be kicked out so quickly knowing that you have to take off the sheets and empty the trash quite far away... Unacceptable. Then delivery boxes from floor to ceiling at the entrance of our building were leaving garbage!!! This destroys the standing. They know but do nothing. They are only there to make money, nothing to do with the customers. Then 90% of the accommodation is rented to religious fundamentalists who are in groups, pass in front of your windows constantly and speak loudly late at night, a very painful situation to live with on a daily basis, forced to close the curtains in broad daylight. Unbearable. Positive point: the quality inside the apartment, pleasant contemporary decoration, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, numerous dressing rooms, built-in designer cupboards, very good quality bedding. Breakfast option taken very good because booked early to go hiking with a large choice of quality breads, muesli, yogurts, jams in large quantities.
Nice apartment hotel however be careful from staff as they charge me 50 Swiss francs because I didn’t check out before 9 am( staff will not inform you about early check out, only you need to read information paper). They charge me immediately from my credit card without informing me. Only 2 nights enough as small village.

Our stay at Montela Apartments was one of the highlights of our trip to Saas Fee. The apartment itself was spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen that made preparing meals quite easy (as eating out in Switzerland is super expensive!). We appreciated the quiet atmosphere and convenient parking, as well as the easy access to the gondolas of Saas Fee (granting free lift access was outstanding). It's a 10 minute drive or bus trip to Saas Fee from Saas Grund where the hotel is located. While our stay was largely enjoyable, there were a few drawbacks. The 9 a.m. check-out time felt rushed, and the worn-out couch could benefit from replacement. We were also surprised to find that the promised sheets were not included, and the additional charges for daily towel changes or extended check-out seemed unnecessary. The presence of many children could also be overwhelming at times. However, the staff's expertise on local hiking trails and their warm hospitality more than made up for these issues. The apartment's cleanliness, luxurious linens, and blazing-fast Wi-Fi were notable highlights. The staff's warmth and the apartment's many virtues make Montela a solid choice for those willing to pay a premium price in this charming Swiss village.

I think it's quite crowded in high season, but the price/performance ratio is totally right here However, almost everything is closed in May (hiking trails, huts, cable cars, restaurants, bakeries, etc.) because there is a break between the winter and summer seasons. Just for your information.
We spent three wonderful days in a 4.5 room apartment in Montela. The apartment was clean, tidy and had everything you need for everyday life. There is a great indoor games room, great with our 3 year old. A nice multipurpose room too. Also a fitness center, very well equipped and clean! Unfortunately it was poorly marked so it took me 30 minutes to find it. (Also at this time reception closed and not answering the phone unfortunately for me) During check out the receptionist understands my remark and agrees to put up signs We were able to pay with Reka checks. A big plus! Child's bed and high chair available Thank you Montella for this wonderful stay! We will probably come back
We had a beautiful stay at Montela this summer, the apartments are in brand new stunning condition, clean and extremely well equipped. The grounds are also beautiful with magnificent views. The staff were super helpful The play area in the building was a lifesaver!
The complex was truly AMAZING, offering top-notch apartments that were incredibly comfortable. The interior design was exceptionally stylish, adding to the overall appeal. Furthermore, the location of the complex was awesome, making it an all-around fantastic experience.
My experience was really disappointing. Unfortunately, during my stay with my family, we experienced significant discomfort due to the atmospheric pressure in the area, which caused dizziness, nausea, and ear pain for our children. As a result, we had to cut our staying short and move to another area that has less high for our kids' comfort.. Given the circumstances, and since my booking was nonrefundable, I asked kindly request a refund for the reservation fees for the three days that we were unable to stay at the resort. But unfortunately they refused that and didn't understand our situation !!!

Already the second time we go there and always a great time! We have rented regular apartments and, this time, the Pavillon. It was spacious, modern and convenient (2 kitchens). We were a group of 8 and we had a lot of fun. Bus stop to go to Saas Fee is just in front of the house and makes it a lot easier. I can only recommend - see you again next year!

In addition, Anke and Anne find the possibility of having freshly prepared food delivered to their holiday flat and enjoying it in private to be a big plus: "In the evening, exhausted from the activities in the fresh air, having the alternative of having food delivered is very great. Even if you want to cook yourself, you can find everything you need in the cosy kitchen. And with the view, the food tastes twice as good." Anke and Anne are already looking forward to next spring.

Beautiful stay! Apartment was brand new, and very well equipped. They also give access for all transportation including cable carts. Only bad thing was the customer service. The reception lady was very rude to us. When my wife asked her about an information, the lady said I already said the info once, and I'm not going to repeat it.

Loved our stay at the Montela apartments. Beautifully furnished, super comfy beds, all the utensils you need, some nice extras like coffee capsules, olive oil, tea bags. They also provided bowls and treats for our dog. We liked the location, which makes it easy to go to the cable car in Saas Grund, but also to take the bus to Saas Fee and Saas Almagell.
It was a really clean and well equipped apartment. The beds were comfortable and their was loads of storage space. It had the biggest bath I have even seen. the only thing I would change were the pillows which were too soft (for me).

The Montela-Apartments have been a very nice Hosts – the whole complex is very modern and absolutely new. We had a spacious flat on the ground floor with a nice terrace ideal for our little French Bulldog. The Bus-Stop towards the slops are just up the little road the price is absolutely competitive within Switzerland. Highly recommended!
